Who Is Texter Greer Latimore on ‘CSI: Cyber’?

In the CSI: Cyber episode “Going Viral,” the Cyber team must find the hacker responsible for an airborne computer virus that’s infecting cell phones in New York City. The virus jams cell phones when callers dial 911 — so New Yorkers can’t reach the police when they are most in need. Meanwhile, D.B. (Ted Danson) receives a text by mistake from a mysterious woman named Greer Latimore and then they meet in person.

Greer Latimore is portrayed by Kelly Preston. She’s best known for her roles in the films Jerry Maguire (Tom Cruise’s girlfriend Avery Bishop), Twins (Marnie Mason), and From Dusk Till Dawn (newscaster Kelly Houge). Fun fact about Preston (wife of John Travolta): She and CSI: Cyber star Patricia Arquette worked together on the set of Medium (Preston played Joe’s partner, venture capitalist Meghan Doyle). CSI: Cyber airs Sundays at 10pm on CBS.
