Jessica Cabral Brings Beauty To ‘American Idol’, Says JLo

Jessica Cabral is the 21-year-old worship music director from Worcester, Massachusetts who’s competing in the fifteenth and final season of American Idol. She has a good chance of winning too. At her audition (she sang Alicia Keys’ “Brand New Me”), Jessica wowed the judges. Jennifer Lopez said Jessica has a “beautiful, thick, lush tone,” and the official American Idol Twitter account chimed in and wrote: “Wow! Jessica has some serious VOCALS.”

In Hollywood, Jessica Cabral sings Ed Sheeran’s song “Photograph” (see video below). Knowing it’ss the final season of American Idol, Cabral said, “I knew I just couldn’t let it pass me by.” One of many people who is glad she didn’t let it pass is judge Harry Connick Jr who said, he would be shocked if she doesn’t make it very far in the competition. American Idol airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8pm on FOX.
