Country singing star Jennifer Nettles is once again hosting the CMA Country Christmas TV show. Big name stars including LeAnn Rimes, Darius Rucker, Jewel, and Martina McBride will perform during the two-hour special. A number of rising stars including Kelsea Ballerini will perform, too.
Ballerini is the 22-year-old blonde beauty behind the hit “Love Me Like You Mean It.” It’s one of the 12 songs on her first full-length album, The First Time. She says she first started writing songs at the age 12, when she heard Keith Urban’s “Stupid Boy.” She said songwriting helped her cope with her parents’ divorce. Three years later Ballerini moved with her mother from Knoxville to Nashville and signed on with Black River Entertainment. CMA Country Christmas will air December 3 at 9pm on ABC.
