On Vanderpump Rules, SUR bartenders Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval pitch their “business plan” – aimed to help expand Lisa Vanderpump’s Sangria brand – to Lisa and her daughter Pandora. Tom Sandoval starts the pitch by saying: “I think the Sangria is an amazing product. I like the fact that it’s not too sweet. Obviously, [it has] a great name.”
When Sandoval hears the crickets in the room, he turns to Schwartz who claims to have experience in wine and spirits. Sandoval chimes in and says he has experience in the market too. “I could really push the product in St. Louis,” Sandoval says which makes the otherwise deadpan-faced Lisa giggle. “I go back to St. Louis at least four times a year, and I know everybody. And if I don’t know them, my friends know them.” What the Toms don’t understand (among other things) is that Lisa’s daughter has already turned the Sangria into an international brand. Even so, Pandora is willing to give the Toms a chance to put together a little plan, since they’re passionate about it. But Pandora warns them, “You better not be having mental breakdowns, and crying and leaving,” which left the Toms speechless and nodding their heads obediently. Vanderpump Rules airs Mondays at 9pm on Bravo.
