New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) is trying to arrest a killer on the loose on Blue Bloods. That’s not unusual, but the crime is. A homeless man was lit on fire. It’s an act without motive, without any logic other than pure evil. To add to the Commissioner’s troubles is an investigative reporter, Anne Farrell, who interviews the anonymous killer. She says she’s sworn to protect her source. But the commish says she’s glorifying the killing. A judge holds the journalist in contempt. Either the journalist or the commissioner will have to give in.
Anne Farrell is portrayed by Leslie Hope. Hope is best known for her roles as Teri Bauer in 24, Kira Nerys’ mother on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and surviving passenger Joan Luss on The Strain. She also has a recurring role on NCIS as Secretary of the Navy, Sarah Porter. Blue Bloods airs Fridays at 10pm on CBS.
