‘Love + Hip Hop Atlanta’ (LHHATL) reality TV star Karlie Redd was turned down for a role in a Tyler Perry film because she’s on LHHATL. “They said that to me,” Redd told DC Radio Station 93.9. She said it’s not the first time the model/actress/dancer/singer has been denied roles due to her role on the show.
That said, LHHATL fans will be able to see her on the big screen soon. She got a role in Chris Rock’s comedy ‘Finally Famous.’ She should do well. She knows the material. It’s about a comedian (Chris Rock) who tries to make it as a serious actor but then his reality TV star fiancé (not Redd but the engaged-to-Dwyane Wade Gabrielle Union) talks him into broadcasting their wedding on her TV show.
