The reality family show Wahlburgers is usually chock full of laughs, gags and pranks pulled between the Wahlberg brothers. Hollywood actors Mark Wahlberg (Patriots Day, Deepwater Horizon) and Donnie Wahlberg (Blue Bloods) usually choose their brother Paul (the chef behind their Wahlburgers restaurants) as the butt of their jokes. Luckily, Paul is a good-humored guy who doesn’t seem to mind too much. But when it comes to Thanksgiving, things get serious around the Wahlberg family table.
In the Wahlburgers season finale episode ‘Thanxmas,’ Mark suggests that they mention what they’re thankful for. Mark starts, very quietly: “I’ve been appreciative of Paul for focusing on his talent that’s allowed all of us to come together. He’s my big brother and I look up to him a lot.” With a tear in his eye, Mark turns to Paul and says quietly, “I love you.” Wahlburgers airs Wednesdays at 9:30pm on A&E.
