Taylor Schilling has a lot going for her. She’s the gorgeous 30-year-old star of the Netflix sensation, Orange Is the New Black (Piper Chapman) and she’s starring in the forthcoming sex swinger movie The Overnight with Jason Schwartzman and Adam Scott. But with that success as an actress comes the obligation to promote the projects. Something she isn’t always comfortable doing.
Schilling is on the cover of Rolling Stone with OITNB co-star Laura Prepon but when it came time to sit down and talk, Schilling said: “Every time I sit down to do an interview with someone, it’s kind of weird. Because if I was talking to you like a friend or getting coffee it would be a completely different conversation; it’s always a strange line to toe.” She added, “I feel very new to this whole game of how to have a public life and also a personal life. I’m still feeling it out. It’s a constant negotiation.” Good luck, Taylor.
