Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got married on Saturday at their home in France. It was a nondenominational civil ceremony conducted by a California judge in a small chapel located on their estate. (Did you know they had a chapel?) The megastar Hollywood couple kept their nuptials a secret for nearly a week. Even Jolie’s father, Jon Voight, kept it a secret as he attended the Emmy Awards on Monday.
Brad Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston when he met Jolie on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Aniston is now engaged to Justin Theroux, star of the HBO series The Leftovers. Aniston and Theroux have been engaged for two years. They have not announced a wedding date.
