In the Modern Family episode “Tree’s A Crowd”, while Jay (Ed O’Neill) and Gloria (Sofia Vergara) try to help Manny get over his breakup with Sherry, the Dunphy family deals with Dylan’s hippie mom (Rachel Bay Jones) moving in while Claire’s (Julie Bowen) lonely stepdad Jerry (Ed Begley, Jr.) stops in for a visit.
When not filming Modern Family, Hyland spends time on Instagram where she often shares gorgeous photos of her and her fiancee Wells Adams. So it was surprising to her fans when Hyland shared the photo above, which she initially considered unflattering. (For the record, we thought it was great at first glance!)
Hyland explained that when she saw the picture, she initially “HATED it” and then “quickly readjusted her attitude and decided to celebrate it.” She went on to explain: “With inflammation, excess water gain, and medications, my skin has a hard time bouncing back.”
