On the series premiere of Growing Up Hip Hop: New York, “Face the Fyre,” Ja Rule’s kids Brittney and Jeff, suffer the backlash of Fyre Festival while the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s 30-year-old son Young Dirty Bastard pursues a number of women and a music career.
Earlier this summer, YDB posed with two NYPD cops at the Times Square subway station with the caption: “Something Special In The Works” and added the hashtags: #cops #together #one #team. Not all of his fans were impressed.
One wrote: “police are a threat to society. Don’t even bother, YDB. You can’t change that.” Some fans were just mad that he was mixing Adidas (his outfit) with Jordans (his sneakers).
Ol’ Dirty Bastard, one of the founding members of Wu-Tang Clan, died of a drug overdose in 2004 at the age of 35. YDB was 15.
