In the Lifetime movie The Wrong Stepmother, Michael Stone Corin Nemec) is a widower and single dad of two daughters, Nicole (McKinley Blehm) and Lily (Calli Taylor). Two years after his wife’s death, Michael starts online dating and meets Maddie (Cindy Busby). The girls like their fathers new girlfriend at first — but then they figure out that she’s full-blown crazy. The girls turn to school guidance counselor Ms. Price (Vivica A. Fox) and Dr. Harris for help.
Dr. Harris is portrayed by Tracy Nelson. The daughter of the late singer Ricky Nelson (The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet), Tracy is known for her roles on Melrose Place (Meredith Parker), A League of Their Own (Evelyn Gardner), Father Dowling Mysteries (Sister Steve, see below), and Square Pegs (Jennifer DiNuccio), among others.
