On the Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta episode “Sex, Lies & Surveillance Tape,” Bow Wow deals with the repercussions of his arrest while rapper Waka Flocka Flame deals with his wife Tammy Rivera, who’s trying to keep him true to his promise. He said he was going to retire from music, but he ain’t. When in Los Angeles, he tells his wife on the phone that he’s thinking about “rebranding” himself. That conversation doesn’t go well. Tammy told him if she catches him in the studio it’ll be like if she found out he was cheating on her.
When Waka returns to the A, he warns his mother/manager Deb Antney about Deb’s godson Brandon Barnes, who last season was trying to make it as a talent manager working with T.I. and Tameka “Tiny” Harris’s daughter Zonnique. Waka tells Deb that Brandon is “a con artist, a manipulator.” When peace-maker Deb brings everyone together for dinner, Waka “pops off” and threatens to beat the crap out of him up. Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta airs Thursdays at 9 pm on WE.
