On the Cartel Crew episode “Back to Miami, Back to Reality”, Young Money president Mack Maine and rapper Jay Jones stop by the studio to hear Stephanie Acevedo’s new track. The chorus includes the line: “we’re gonna do boo boo.” Mack Maine says it’s a dope record, and says in a sing-song way, “I’m still boom booming,” which has Stephanie laughing and smiling. “Are you still boo booing in your head?” He adds, “That blew me away.” He asks the sound engineer to send him a copy. “I need that in my email before I leave the parking lot.”
Stephanie is no dummy, she seizes the moment and tells her “boss man” Mack that she wants to have a single release party for the song. “I want to make it a big deal.” Mack is on board, and not just for Stephanie’s sake. “I’m still single, I’m looking for a wife.” Stephanie laughs, “I could find you the love of your life.” Cartel Crew airs Mondays at 10 pm on VH1, right after Love & Hip Hop Miami.
