Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club episode “Lindsay’s Choice” shows the title character getting personal and being a mentor to young women. (You read that right!) The former Disney child star Lindsay Lohan (The Parent Trap), 32, is building a brand around her name in the hospitality business on the island of Mykonos in Greece. One of her biggest obstacles is dealing with a young, sexy and volatile staff. After two female workers — Gabi and Jonetta — have a physical altercation (over a boy), Lohan has a heart-to-heart with the young women. Slap fights “can’t happen,” she tells them. “What happened wasn’t okay and it wasn’t necessary at all.”
When asked what triggered the fight, Jonetta says she should have the right to bring a guy that she really likes to the house where all the staff lives. Lohan interrupts her and explains, “This house is not made for that.” But Lohan tries to sympathize: “Listen, of all people I know what it’s like to feel insecure, embarrassed by doing something that I didn’t mean to do.”
When Lohan gets emotional talking about her past, talking about how she had “to overcome all this stuff I was put through,” Jonetta gets red-eyed and Gabi wipes tears from her eyes. Lohan says she doesn’t want to send one of them home. Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club airs Mondays at 10 pm on MTV, right after Teen Mom 2.
