In The Cool Kids episode “Funeral Crashers,” Hank (David Alan Grier) knows he’s going to see his ex-wife Lorraine (Jackee Harry) at a mutual friend’s funeral, so he agrees to bring Margaret (Vicki Lawrence) as his “hype man” and lie about his success to impress her. At the funeral, Hank also meets her new, handsome, younger and taller husband Reggie (NBA champion Rick Fox). Going against Hank’s wishes, his friends Charlie (Martin Mull) and Sid (Leslie Jordan) crash the funeral and meet a number of the deceased’s military friends including Colonel Christianson.
The tall singing military man Colonel Christianson on The Cool Kids is portrayed by Bob Gunton.
