It’s down to the Top 10 on Season 15 of The Voice. Nerves get rattled and song choices are key for the live performances. While Blake Shelton has the advantage of having three artists in the Top 10 (Chris Kroeze, Dave Fenley, Kirk Jay), he’s not taking any chances with their song choices. His country singers are singing country songs for the Top 10. Coach Jennifer Hudson, who has two artists in the Top 10 (20-year-old plus-size model MaKenzie Thomas from Wallingford, Kentucky and 13-year-old Kennedy Holmes from St. Louis, Missouri) is taking a risk with Holmes.

It’s easy to forget that Holmes is just 13 due to her big talent, her maturity on stage, and her song choices. She’s known for singing big diva songs including Whitney Houston’s “Greatest Love of All” and Bette Midler’s “Wind Beneath My Wings.” But for her Top 10 live performance, Kennedy is revealing another side of herself when she performs the pop song “Me Too” by Meghan Trainor. The 2016 song is about self-love, sung with confidence. The lyrics include: “If I was you, I’d wanna be me too / I’d wanna be me too / I’d wanna be me too.” The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 pm on NBC.
