In the TV movie The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time, the resilient protagonist Fin (Ian Ziering) goes back in time to resurrect his family and to stop the first Sharknado that started the whole mess. During his time in the past, he fights off dinosaurs, knights, and cowboys including Billy the Kid. The American Old West outlaw and gunfighter who killed eight men before he was shot and killed at age 21 is portrayed by Jonathan Bennett.
Jonathan Bennett is known for his roles on MTV’s Awkward. (Ethan), and in the films Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (Bud McNulty), and Mean Girls (Aaron Samuels), among others. Bennett is also known as the host of Cake Wars and for competing on Season 19 of Dancing with the Stars in 2014. Bennett will appear next on the big screen in The Haunting of Sharon Tate. Hilary Duff is playing Tate; Bennett is playing celebrity hairstylist Jay Sebring, who was also murdered by the Manson Family at Roman Polanski’s house. The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time premieres on Syfy on Sunday, August 19 at 8pm.
