In the Lifetime movie The Nanny Is Watching, husband and wife Scott (Adam Huber) and Mara (Talya Carroll) Franklin are spooked after someone breaks into their house. They react by installing a hi-tech home security system. They have no reason not to give the passcode to their live-in nanny Rachel (Cinta Laura Kiehl). Rachel has taken a shine to their adopted daughter Beth. Unbeknownst to Scott and Mara, Rachel is Beth’s biological mother and she wants her back. With access to the security system, Rachel spies on the family and tortures them. When Mara meets Rachel’s mother Sarah, Sarah tells her that Rachel is “troubled.” Word gets back to Rachel who gets physical with her mother. It’s not a pretty scene.
Rachel’s mother Sarah is portrayed by Donna D’Errico. She’s best known for her role as Donna Marco on Baywatch and Baywatch Nights. Since then, the ex-wife of Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx has appeared on the reality TV shows Million Dollar Matchmaker, Celebrity Paranormal Project, Howard Stern, and Hollywood Squares, among others. Donna was named Playboy’s Miss September 1995, was on the November 1996 cover, and named Miss August 1999. On a personal note, D’Errico is currently dating Donald “DJ” Freise, ex-boyfriend of former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Granville (see photo below).
