On the Little Women: LA episode “Extreme Therapy,” after bonding over plastic surgery, Christy Gibel and Tonya Banks decide it’s time for all the girls to patch up their broken relationships. So they call on their relationship guide Hasani for a group session in the woods. Terra Jole shows up but she’s the most hesitant. She feels like everyone is ganging up on her, and she doesn’t really understand why. She changed the name of her wine (originally called Black Girl Moscato) which she says “was a big deal for me” and yet “I’m still getting all this heat from the girls.” It wasn’t just the name of the wine that offended some of the girls. It was also the fact that she was competing against her friend Tonya, godmother of her child.
At the group session, Hasani asks the six ladies who’s interested in starting a process of genuine forgiveness. Everyone raises their hand except for Terra. When Hasani turns to Terra, she says sarcastically, “Sure.” He says, “Your response tells me that you may need it the most.” Terra gets weepy. “Sometimes it takes weeks for people to forgive,” she waves her hand at Tonya. Hasani reminds Terra that forgiveness is never easy. “It’s actually something you do daily.” He refers to it as “releasing new mercies.” And if she doesn’t release those new mercies and continues to hold onto the past, “the more it poisons you.” Terra agrees, “Oh, it’s poison. It’s totally poison.” Tonya says she didn’t mean for Terra to feel like she’s being ganged up on, and announces that she’s willing to take the first step in forgiveness.” Little Women: LA airs Wednesdays at 9pm on Lifetime.
