In The Blacklist episode “Anna-Garcia Duerte,” an associate of the Nash Syndicate is murdered while talking on the phone with Red (James Spader). Red sets Liz (Megan Boone) and the Task Force on the case in order to recover evidence crucial to bringing down Ian Garvey (Jonny Coyne). It appears that a young woman wearing a hoodie, Anna-Garcia Duerte, is involved.
Anna-Garcia Duerte is portrayed by 22-year-old Puerto Rican actress Jearnest Corchado. She’s appeared on an episode of The Fosters as Dee, and in the 2018 film Crave: The Fast Life as Soli. Corchado left Puerto Rico at the age of 17 to pursue her acting career in Los Angeles. Corchado says “I am here representing Puerto Rico.” The Blacklist airs Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC.
