On The Voice Knockout Rounds, coach Adam Levine pitted two powerful artists against each other – Emily Luther and Adam Pearce. Emily Luther nailed Pink’s 2008 hit “Glitter in the Air”, even after having a wardrobe malfunction hours prior to the live performance. Adam Pearce let his long hair down and sang the iconic Deep Purple rock song “Smoke on the Water.” It was a tough choice for Levine but he chose Emily. Fellow coach Miley Cyrus took the opportunity to steal Adam Pearce, who’s now on Team Miley.

After the Knockouts, Adam Pearce wrote on social media; “Hate to leave Adam Levine, but I honestly can’t blame him for that!” Pearce called Emily’s performance “amazing”. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
