In the Season 3 premiere episode of Mr. Robot, before Elliot (Rami Malek) gets woke and realizes that his mission needs help from Angela (Portia Doubleday), Irving makes an appearance. The car salesman from Pelham, New York makes a great first impression when he earns a free milkshake at the BBQ take-out Red Wheelbarrow. When the young woman behind the counter explains he can only redeem it at his next visit, he says very calmly, “When we lose our principles, we invite chaos.”
