The Battle Rounds are over on The Voice, Season 13. Now the remaining artists are preparing for the Knockout Rounds. The lucky singers get to work with superstar Kelly Clarkson before going face-to-face on stage with their competitors. (Clarkson and Alicia Keys are replacing Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson as coaches on Season 14 of The Voice next year.) One of the first Knockouts pits Team Miley’s Ashland Craft vs. Chloe Kohnaski. Ashley sings the insipid Bon Jovi song “Wanted Dead or Alive” while playing a guitar and wearing a pink fringed jacket and cowboy boots.

Chloe’s sings the Fleetwood Mac song “Landslide.” After the very first line, “I took my love, I took it down,” Blake Shelton says, “Whoa.” Later in the song, Miley screams, “Damn!” The stripped-down version of the emotional song highlights Chloe’s voice and the lyrics demand your attention. (Stevie Nicks wrote the song in 1973 before joining Fleetwood Mac. She was working as a waitress and a cleaning lady at the time in Colorado, wondering when her hard work with her music would pay off.) The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
