In the Season 4 premiere of NCIS: New Orleans, “Rogue Nation,” while Pride (Scott Bakula) is still on probation after trying to take down Mayor Hamilton (Steven Weber), the rest of the team investigates an FBI case which involves stolen nuclear waste. They’re forced to work with their new “by-the-books” supervisor Special Agent Paula Boyd.
Agent Boyd is portrayed by Becky Ann Baker. She’s known for her roles on Girls (Lena Dunham’s mother Loreen, for which she was nominated for an Emmy), The Good Wife (Alma Hoff), Kings (Jessie Shepherd), and Freaks and Geeks (Jean Weir), among many others. Baker is also recognized for her roles in the films Men in Black (Mrs. Redgick), Spider-man 3 (Mrs. Stacy), and A Simple Plan (Nancy Chambers). Fun fact: She’s married to actor Dylan Baker. NCIS: New Orleans airs Tuesdays at 10pm on CBS, right after Bull.
