Allyssa Beird is a fifth grade teacher in Middleborough, Massachusetts by day. She prepares all the lessons for her students in science, math, English, and social students. “But I live sort of a double life,” Ms. Beird says in the America Ninja Warrior video below. “When I finish a school day, I continue on to ninja mode.”
The cute video shows Beird jumping on and across the desks of her students and doing somersaults in the hallway of her school, among other things. Beird says what drives her is knowing “there’s always more to learn.” On September 18, the camera will follow Beird in her stage 2 run — it’s the finale! American Ninja Warrior airs Mondays at 8pm on NBC.
