On Bar Rescue, before Jon Taffer announces himself at the Long Beach dive bar Liquid Lounge, he sends in his 28-year-old daughter Sam to do some recon. Jon explains that Sam represents Jack Daniels in the liquor distributing business. He says, “Sam knows me, she knows what I’m looking for.” When Sam sits at the bar and asks for a Jack and soda, Jon can’t believe the drink costs $7. He’s also surprised at the pour. The face his daughter makes while taking the first sip, tells Jon it’s not good. Sam then tries to dilute the drink with lime slices but those attract fruit flies.
