When the acrobatic dance group from Los Angeles, Diavolo, auditioned on America’s Got Talent, they performed on a giant rocking structure that appeared like a boat. And when it hit a wave, dancers would fly off the boat to amazement of everyone especially AGT judge Mel B who complained that the performance was “too short” and “I wanted to watch it again and again.” Diavolo received four yeses and are now performing for the second time during the Judge Cuts.
Led by choreographer Jacques Heim, Diavolo will likely perform one of the recent pieces — Cubicle or Passengers (The Train), see video below. Diavolo says both explore “human experience, as we teeter between vulnerability and control, losing and reshaping ourselves as we traverse through our daily lives and work. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
