On every season of Dancing with the Stars, there are always a handful of celebrities you know won’t make it to the finals. On Season 24, fans quickly realized that Chris Kattan, Mr. T. and Charo wouldn’t be able to compete at a higher level. But when former Beyonce dancer Heather Morris and Olympic gold medalist gymnast Simone Biles were eliminated, it was a surprise for many. With just three couples left — former MLB baseball player David Ross is the underdog. (The other finalists are NFL player Rashad Jennings and Fifth Harmony singer Normani Kordei.)

Besides his hundreds of thousands of Cubs fans, 40-year-old David Ross has his 23-year-old pro dance partner Lindsay Arnold to thank for getting him to the finals. Lindsay has said David is like a second father to her — but Lindsay’s real parents are also very proud, especially her mother Mindy who could easy pass as Lindsay’s sister! See photos below.
