In The Middle episode ‘Dental Hijinks’, while Mike (Neil Flynn) convinces Dr. Goodwin (Jack McBrayer) to lie to Frankie (Patricia Heaton) and Axl (Charlie McDermott) decides to sell the Winnebago, Brick (Atticus Shaffer) writes a Scottish rap musical and Sue (Eden Sher) flirts with golf cart driver Tyler.
Tyler is portrayed by Keaton Savage. He’s known for his roles on Westworld (Buck Private), Fresh Off the Boat (Tyler), 90210 (Morris), and Grounded for Life (Young Sean/Donal Logue), among others. Savage earned a psychology degree from UCLA in 2012 but, according to his website, “he decided to desert his plans to become a therapist, and instead chose to get back into the entertainment industry because he’s probably a masochist and thrives on crippling blows to the ego.” The Middle airs Tuesdays at 8pm on ABC.
