On the heels of The Rap Game comes The Pop Game on Lifetime. The series premiere episode ‘Got What It Takes’ introduces five young artists trying to become the next big pop star. On The Rap Game, the young rappers’ mentor is Jermaine Dupri; on The Pop Game the mentor is Grammy Award winner Timbaland. Other guests appear throughout the series to help the aspiring vocalists — including Nelly Furtado.
