Chance the Rapper, the 23-year-old hip hop artist from Chicago, released his third mixtape Coloring Book in May 2016, exclusively on Apple Music. Coloring Book was streamed more than 57.3 million times in its first week. Jon Caramanica of The New York Times says Chance (known for his “gospel rap”) has “blossomed into a crusader and pop savant, coming as close as anyone has to eradicating the walls between the sacred and the secular.”
Chance is also known for wearing a baseball hat with the number 3 on it. He’s selling the lids while on his Magnificent Coloring Book Tour and online for $45. They’re available in black, white, khaki and salmon. If Chance changes the digit on his hat when the fourth mixtape comes out, well… 3 hats become collector’s items.
