The 2016 American Music Awards will air on Sunday, November 20 beginning at 8pm on ABC. The 44th annual event features musical performances by “24K Magic” Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga and 65-year-old Sting, who will receive a special Merit award “for his contributions to the industry.” Held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, the AMAs are hosted this year by model Gigi Hadid and former Saturday Night Live player Jay Pharoah.
One day before the AMAs, Pharoah posted a photo of himself with Hadid with the caption “FINALLY met my co-host @GiGiHadid today!” Guess they don’t need to rehearse much.
FINALLY met my co-host @GiGiHadid today! Get ready for the @AMAs tomorrow at 8/7c on ABC. #AMAs pic.twitter.com/aVdGwtNxzC
