In the Dance Moms episode ‘Mini Mayhem,’ the fight between the elite moms and mini moms continues. “They’ve been fighting since day one,” says dance instructor Abby Lee Miller. The elites say Abby favors the minis and the mini moms say the elites are jealous. Last week, the elites choreographed their own routine which “could backfire on us” says elite Nia’s mother Holly. “Abby doesn’t like anyone doing something without Abby being in charge of it from the very beginning,” explains Holly.
In the studio, Abby starts picking apart the routine one day before a competition. Abby says, “I think the girls (the elites) are getting a little too big for their britches.” She adds, “They think getting out on stage and ‘choreographing’ the number was this big deal but let’s face it while you dance for me, I’m in charge, it’s not a democracy.” Dance Moms airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Lifetime.
