On Hollywood Medium, YouTube sensation singer Austin Mahone, 20, brings a watch to his reading with Tyler Henry. Right away, Tyler says he feels the energy of someone who’s died too young, and there’s a reference to his father’s side of the family. Tyler adds: “someone who worked with vintage cars or worked under cars.” Austin says, “Not that I know of.”
Tyler is a bit confused because he keeps seeing/feeling Austin and his father, separated. When he asks Austin, “To what extent has dad been a part of your work?” Austin says, “Nothin’.” Compared to other celebrities on the show, Austin is not forthcoming. Then Tyler asks, “Where is dad living currently?” Austin says, “He passed away.” When Tyler says, “I’m so sorry that you lost your father,” Austin says somberly, “It’s all good. I appreciate it.” At Tyler’s prodding, Austin reveals that his father, Charles Edgar Mahone, killed himself (and he did work on cars). Austin was less than 2 years old when his father died.
