On the Hawaii Five-0 episode “Ke Koa Lokomaika’i (The Good Soldier),” while McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) teams up with a young man with autism to solve the murder of the man’s only friend, Danny (Scott Caan) gets a visit from his mother Clara Williams. Their visit is interrupted by the FBI who want to question her. When Danny voices his concern, his mother tells him to “man up.”

Danny’s mother Clara is portrayed by Melanie Griffith. She’s best known for her roles in the films Working Girl (Tess McGill), Something Wild (Audrey Hankel), Lolita (Charlotte Haze), and Mulholland Falls (Katherine Hoover), among others. She is the daughter of actors Tippie Hedren and Peter Griffith. She was married to actors Antonio Banderas, Don Johnson (twice), and Steven Bauer. She is the mother of actress Dakota Johnson. Hawaii Five-0 airs Fridays at 9pm on CBS.
