During the final round of blind auditions on The Voice, 16-year-old Shelby Brown sings “Stars.” And the moment she hits that high note, all the judges – Blake Shelton is first, Adam Levine second, Gwen Stefani third, and Pharrell last – turn their chairs. They all stand to applaud. When Shelby reveals that she’s only 16, Gwen Stefani can’t believe it. “The brilliant moments were so brilliant that…I have to be part of it,” Adam Levine admits. He has one spot left on his team. “The spot on my team was made for you.”

Blake Shelton tries to get in there by asking Shelby where she’s from. “Elberta, Alabama,” she says. When Blake asks, “Alberta?” she corrects him, “Alberta is in Canada.” The audience laughs and Adam Levine makes a fist pump. “She’s not only a great country singer she’s also a great smart ass, too,” Shelton says. He followed that up with, “You are made for me.” The Voice airs Mondays at 8pm on NBC.
