Grace Miguel is wearing a new ring thanks to the big man on her campus, Usher. Usher and Miguel got engaged in January — and they just delighted celeb watchers by getting married without telling anybody first. (Or as US magazine puts it: Usher and Longtime Girlfriend Grace Miguel Secretly Marry, Jet Off to Cuba for Honeymoon!) Here’s a question: if someone asked you which of the following two people are using the name they were given at birth, Usher or Grace Miguel, what would you answer?
Well, a lot of you (and us too) would be wrong. Usher was born Usher Terry Raymond IV, but Grace Miguel was born Michelle Grace Harry. She’s been using Grace Miguel as her main moniker for a long time though, as far back as when she was the executive chef on the set of The Cosby Show. (Yup, talented woman, many skills and careers.) But Usher just probably calls her “Boss” — because Miguel is his manager at Def Jam Records.
