TV talk show host Rosie O’Donnell has left The View, again. On her last day during an interview with SNL mainstay Kenan Thompson, she reiterated why she was leaving – to reduce stress in her life. She’s going through a divorce and has five kids! Will she ever come back? “Maybe,” she said. She’ll definitely come back to do a crafting segment. “I have a hot glue gun and will travel,” she joked. Crafting relieves stress, btw.
Executives at ‘The View’ are looking at 5 contenders to fill in for O’Donnell. They are: Naya Rivera – who made a big splash last month when she said white people shower more than ethnics, Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi, former Destiny’s Child singer Michelle Williams, What Not to Wear host Stacy London and ESPN reporter Samantha Ponder.
