Before playing Gretchen in the iconic movie Mean Girls with Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert played Claudia Salinger in the young adult drama series Party of Five from 1994 to 2000. Scott Wolf played Claudia’s big brother, Bailey Salinger.
With the photo below, Chabert announces that she’s reunited with Wolf to film a new Hallmark Channel TV movie, A Merry Scottish Christmas, which will be released during the network’s famous ‘Countdown to Christmas’ season later in the year.
After the announcement, Party of Five fans flooded Chabert’s comments with concern. As one replied: “Please tell me you are NOT love interests in this!!!!!” Another chimed in: “So you’re gonna kiss your brother on screen?”
Chabert reassured the diehard Party of Five fans that she and Wolf are playing siblings again. She added: “We are so happy to be playing brother and sister again ❤️.”
Chabert’s fans and famous friends are going wild over the news. Her former Party of Five co-star Jennifer Love Hewitt (who played Bailey’s girlfriend Sarah) replied: “Omg! Yes!!! Party of two”; Jennifer Garner wrote: “This is so special!” and Chabert’s Mean Girls co-star Seyfried shared her excitement with one word: “Yay!!!”
