Hollywood movie star Johnny Depp is known for his wide-ranging roles including an undercover cop on 21 Jump Street, Tim Burton’s outcast Edward Scissorhands, and Captain Jack Sparrow in The Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise, among others.
After “winning” his highly publicized defamation cases against his ex-wife, actress Amber Heard, Depp is stepping out in public once again and on the red carpet at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
He’s promoting his new biopic, Jeanne du Barry, in which he plays Louis XV. French director and writer Maïwenn co-stars.

As seen in the video below, while signing autographs and shaking hands (or “playing the game” as the announcer says) of fans standing behind a barrier — Depp is kissed by a young blonde in a hot pink tank top. When she wraps her hand around his neck, Depp doesn’t walk away in a hurry.

Get ready to see more of Depp: He just signed a $20 million contract with French cosmetics and design house Dior. That’s a good pay day: Fellow Hollywood leading man Brad Pitt reportedly received $7 million to sell Chanel No. 5.
Note: Pitt is promoting his own luxury brand now (gin) — and having it poured at the famous hotel in Cannes, the Carlton.
