Former reality TV star Sadie Robertson is known for starring on the A&E series Duck Dynasty with her family including her father, Willie Robertson, CEO of Duck Commander, a company in Louisiana that makes duck call devices for hunting. The show ran from 2012 to 2017.
During that time, Sadie competed on Season 19 of Dancing with the Stars with professional dancer Mark Ballas and came in second place. Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson won the Mirror Ball Trophy that year, in 2014. (Photos from their 2022 DWTS reunion below.)
Since her dancing days, Sadie Robertson got married in 2019 and became a mother for the first time — she gave birth to a girl, Honey, in 2021.
At the end of 2022, Sadie announced that she’s expecting her second child (due in June 2023). In January, she also announced that she was going to take the year off “from scrolling social media” but she returned recently to share family photos from a ski trip in Park City, Utah.
She writes: “I’m loving this sweet time with my amazing husband, wild and fun little almost 2 year old, and feeling the kicks of my sweet girl less then 2 months away!” Hint: it’s a girl!
She’s also using her platform to promote her Christian podcast, Whoa That’s Good. With the family photos above, Sadie reports: “Also, BIG NEWS… on next week’s episode of my Whoa That’s Good podcast, Christian and I are announcing our baby’s name and how we chose it 🙂 I can’t wait for y’all to hear the story.”
As seen and heard in the video above, Sadie talks about her recent visit to a women’s prison where she baptized 41 inmates including a woman who had the word “rotten” tattooed over her eye.
