Get ready to see more of Hollywood movie star Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids, Nine Perfect Strangers, Mike & Molly, Gilmore Girls). She stars in the upcoming Netflix series God’s Favorite Idiot with her real-life husband of 16 years, actor Ben Falcone (Tammy, Thunder Force).
Ben plays the protagonist, Clark, a tech-support employee who becomes the unwitting messenger of God. Melissa plays Amily Luck, his colorful co-worker who wears a variety of festive ties (and scarfs knotted as ties) to work.
Around the 1:30 mark of the trailer above, Clark and Amily are visited by an angel sent from heaven. The angel is portrayed by Yanic Truesdale, who played Michel Gerard on Gilmore Girls with Melissa, who played Sookie the chef.
