Rapper Lil Kim has come a long way. The 45-year-old was born and raised in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn, New York, where she lived much of her adolescent life on the streets after being expelled from home. Now she’s a millionaire and befriending younger female rappers including Kash Doll.
Kash Doll didn’t have an easy upbringing either. The 27-year-old was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, where she started working at a young age to help her single mom support the family (Kash is the oldest of six kids).
So when Kash Doll met Lil Kim (fellow New Yorkers Fat Joe and LilCease, too) in Detroit for dinner, it was a proud moment for Kash Doll to be able to pay the bill. Although they argued over who was going to pay — Lil Kim kept fanning out $100 bills — Kash Doll resolved the issue with a credit card and said, “It’s on me, it’s my city.”
She captioned the video above: “Me and queen bee @lilkimthequeenbee fighting over the bill last night was a highlight of my female rap career..! Like really last night was epic! I’m honored 🥰she’s the best! I had soooo much fun it was on the flo!”
