“Somebody would just say something so vile. They just want a reaction. They just want comments back. There’s some people, they don’t have a life,” says Internet sage Cardi B, who knows a little about the social media she speaks of. Cardi deliver the big wisdom in the video below, even though she looks like a “chopped cheese sandwich”! (At least that’s what she tells us.)
Cardi thinks Instagram was cool, and then it wasn’t, when people started getting vile and nasty, and especially when they started commenting back on people’s comments. In other words, unfortunately, when they were given the platform and the freedom to speak. (One challenge of loving free speech is that you will inevitably hate what some people say with it.)
Any Cardi never shies away from controversy. Her problem isn’t with likes really, but with comments.
