The Rock is fond of claiming that he and his team are the #hardestWorkersInTheRoom. But what’s in that claim that doesn’t always get talked about is the failure. Working hard, sprinting when you’re near the finish line is one thing. But picking yourself up and dusting yourself off after failures — large and small — that’s where the real hard work comes in.
Because even in a life as admittedly charmed as Dwayne Johnson’s, it’s not easy. You gotta keep getting back up, doing the reps. That’s what he’s trying to teach his children — and all his fans as well.
Like The Rock’s baby girl in the story above, The Rock writes: ” you will stumble and fall. We all do. But be accountable, get back up, dust yourself off, laugh and keep on going down the road.” And if you’re lucky, somebody like The Rock will come along and give you a piece of cake!
