The protagonist of the Lifetime Wrong Summer movie The Wrong Tutor is high school soccer star Eric (Nate Wyatt). He needs a tutor to help boost his grade and stay on the team, so his mother Carol (Vivica A. Fox) agrees to hire a pretty blond named Emily to tutor Eric.
Turns out Emily wants to do more than help Eric with his homework. But when Emily sees Eric with another pretty girl at school, Emily loses it. She threatens the girl, “If you stand in the way and I will make you pay in ways you can’t even imagine.”
Diabolical Emily is portrayed by Ivy Matheson. The gorgeous Canadian-born model got her big break when she landed the role of the pretty girl in the 2015 Shawn Mendes music video “Never Be Alone,” which is part of his Handwritten music video series.
Matheson also stars in Mendes’ Handwritten music videos for “Life of the Party”, “Stitches, First Version,” and “Aftertaste”.
The Wrong Tutor premieres on Lifetime on Friday, July 26 at 8 pm.
