Ellen DeGeneres reposted what she calls her favorite throwback Thursday moment, and it’s a winner!
DeGeneres plays referee between a blindfolded celeb couple trying to clue each other in on what a particular snack food is (the segment is called Taste Buds). To be specific, the blindfolded Kristen Bell eats some Cheetos off a paper plate Ellen holds for her and then proceeds to describe the snack to her blindfolded husband Dax Shepard. Bellmakes one pretty big mistake. She says it’s a crunchy “after dinner snack.” It doesn’t go well, hilariously.
Ellen isn’t always very helpful to her guests because, you know, what fun would that be? But here she can’t resist telling Shepard to “forget about” the after dinner snack clue. Meanwhile, Bell gets so frustrated at his inability to comprehend her clues that she removes her wedding ring. He yells out “chips… oreos…cheeze-its…Ruffles…” Nothing works.
