In the Empire episode “Shift and Save Yourself,” while Cookie’s (Taraji P. Henson) offered a career game-changer and Jamal (Jussie Smollett) works diligently to try to make Tiana and Treasure’s (Katlynn Simone) track a success, the feds pressure Lyons’ lawyer Thirsty (Andre Royo) due to his affiliation with Lucious (Terrence Howard) and Damon Cross (Wood Harris), who in one scene points his gun at Thirsty’s friend Vera.
