On the Teen Mom 2 episode “This Can Go One of Two Ways,” while Adam Lind’s parents break the rules of their custody agreement with Chelsea Houska DeBoer, mother of Adam’s 9-year-old daughter Aubree, Jenelle Evans’ mother Barb flies to New York to meet with Jace’s dad Drew. Barb, who has custody of Jenelle and Drew’s son Jace, agreed to meet Drew because Jace has voiced an interest in meeting his father.
When Barb shows up at the restaurant in New York where she’s scheduled to meet Drew, she waits more than an hour before she picks up the phone and calls him. She leaves a message because of course he doesn’t pick up. She can’t believe he doesn’t have the decency to meet her, let alone call her to tell her he’s not coming. “This is your loss not mine,” she says. “This is going to be the last time I ever make an attempt to come see you again.
